A serious, but optimistic open conversation followed by the chance to celebrate, wind down and dance, held alongside Oslo Pride.
You are warmly invited to participate in, or to listen to, an open conversation with you the audience, convened by PRAKSIS in collaboration with KARMAKLUBB*. This event aims to create a productive round-circle group conversation to share and learn about key aspects of how individuals, groups and (if possible) organisations can embody solidarity with queer communities. In a welcome introduction, PRAKSIS’s Founding Director, Nicholas John Jones will very briefly share experiences from developing and facilitating PRAKSIS, and would like to meet a variety of voices – be they critical or supportive – in considering how he and others could do more, better. There is the intention that, with the consent of the audience, helpful information from this conversation will develop into an introductory guide to responsibly manifesting support.
After this discussion we will be very happy for you to join a celebration of summer Summer open to all, held in collaboration with KARMAKLUBB.
KARMAKLUBB: Nomadic clubbing with Norwegian and International DJs. Queer profile. For girls and such. We do not discriminate. A curated selection of natural wines – ‘queer wine’ – will be served at the events. We also host hybrid-events with panels etc. – we are a space for meetings, conversation, thought, and pleasure.
